Notice that you’re no longer seeing regular clips of the Daily Show on YouTube anymore since Google took them over? Well there more of that to come. Today, the Japan Society for Rights of Authors (JSRA) requested that Google remove videos posted without the copyright holder’s permission. As a result, they deleted some 29,549 clips. It doesn’t seem to have hurt their traffic numbers though but it’s early days.
