Came across Google co-op recently, finally entering the social search marketplace with discussion groups and user contributions in addition to delving deeper into vertical search, giving users the opprtunity to refine their search results. Even more exciting is the announcement of their widgets or “gadgets” as they are calling them which appear to be tied in with their desktop search. You’ll need to download the latest version of Google Desktop before checking out their selection of Google Gadgets.
I’ve already got the Live Cricket Scores going but unfortunately it’s only for games in India. I’ll peruse a few more before the day is out.
Just what you need – more toys. Very cool though.
Cricket scores from India – why that is as bad as getting cricket scores from one of those other strange places like Australia. EH?
